Toenail Fungus

Published by: Ted Yan August 21, 2020

Nail fungus is a quite common condition that manifests as a white or yellow spot under the tip of your toenail. Untreated, the fungal infection may progress and spread to other nails, causing the nails to discolor, thicken and crumble.

If the nail fungus becomes painful and unsightly, home-remedies and over-the-counter (OTC) medications can help. Treatment depends on the severity and type of fungus and even if when the nail condition improves, repeat infections are common.
